But in heavy-duty use, they\u2019re fast reaching their limits:<br>Sharp edges, cuts and mechanical stress can damage the delicate silicone layer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coroplast has developed a special banding for this that offers additional protection: The <a href=\"https:\/\/rittmeyer-beri.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Coroflex_Flyer-Protect.pdf\">Coroflex ProTect<\/a>. However, it is precisely this layer that poses new challenges for cable processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The innovation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With BERI.CO.TAPE we are bringing a single cable processing machine onto the market that safely and efficiently insulates high-voltage cables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to our specially developed process, the protective tape is removed from the underlying silicone layer through thermal processing and a blunt blade helix cut \u2013 without damaging it.<br>This procedure has been scientifically tested and validated by the cable manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The machine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The BERI.CO.TAPE is a medium-sized tabletop machine for cables ranging from 6\u2013150 mm\u00b2 and
