Removing the foil, fabric, or the layers from wires, coaxial cables, and high-voltage cables is a difficult and time-consuming task. Additionally, the cable sheath must be completely stripped beforehand, which may not be desirable for subsequent processes.
The use of rotating blades, for example, for a mechanical stripping must be ruled out because the danger of micro-injuries on the layers under the foil cannot be reliably avoided.
The new thermo-module BERI.MOD.MAGIC for generating warmth by means of an electromagnetic alternating field avoids these disadvantages. It can be universally applied in production lines, or used as an attachment for subsequent processing machines. As a functional element, it can of course also be integrated into processing machines (e.g. stripping machines).
The operating principle is as follows: by heating the metallic parts within hoses, pipes, wires, cables, or any other bar-shaped and linear mounted pieces, the adjacent thermoplastic layers are pre-damaged via heat transfer. This simplifies the stripping, for example, of foils, fabrics, or any other layered materials during the following processing step.
The BERI.MACH.MAGIC machine has been equipped with all necessary components, such as:
The thermo-module BERI.MOD.MAGIC, an inductor-adapter block, an oscillator, a cooling system, a control system, etc.
