Frequently Asked Questions
The machine does not start – what can I check?
Check if the power cord is properly connected and undamaged, if mains voltage is present, and if the power supply is working. If the green power switch does not light up after turning on, according to the manual, no mains voltage is present. Technical interventions may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
The main switch lights up but the display remains black – what should I do?
Check the display’s connector. If the connection is correct and the display remains black, turn off the machine and have the cause checked by qualified personnel.
Foot switch or sensor does not trigger – how do I fix the problem?
Check in the menu whether the associated trigger is activated and check the connector of the foot switch or sensor. Only when the correct trigger is active and properly connected can the work cycle be triggered.
The protective cover is open (Error 1: Cover Open) – what do I have to do?
Close the protective cover completely. The machine monitors the protective cover for safety and can only continue operating once the cause of the message is resolved. Protective or safety devices may not be bypassed or tampered with.
The closing plate or lower safety flap does not close – what could be the cause?
Remove objects or material residues that prevent the closing plate from closing completely. Errors 18 Can’t Close or 21 Cannot Open relate to the lower safety flap. If the problem is not resolved by removing a blockage, stop the machine and contact service.
The message Low Pressure or Input Pressure appears – how do I proceed?
Check the compressed air supply and make sure the pressure regulator is set to 6 bar. The compressed air must be dry, clean, and low in oil. The message means that the input pressure is too low or the required clamping pressure is not reached.
The cable guide sleeve cannot be screwed in – what should I do?
Check if the holding plate is extended. Manually pull the holding plate to the side according to the instructions and then screw in the cable guide sleeve if necessary. Perform work in the machine area only when the machine is safely switched off.
Error Blade Overload or Blade Close – how can I respond?
For Blade Overload (Error 9), a lower blade speed may fix the problem. For Blade Close (Error 10), the cutting force at low speed is not sufficient. Check blades, material, and processing parameters. Before working on blades, switch off the machine, disconnect power and compressed air, and release residual pressure.
How do I perform a reference run?
Close the lid and start the reference run via the corresponding button in the main menu. Make sure that the blade type selected in the recipe or reference matches the blades actually used – including version, cutting position, and for nozzle blades the diameter. A reference run is also part of the functional test before production begins.
